Who Am I ? Who Am I ? Who Am I ?

It doesn’t matter what you do or where you’re from. You, along with earth’s 8 billion people, have asked yourself, "WHO AM I?"

You already know all the purposes and places you can find your identity. But there’s only one place, one Person, who can give you an identity that matches who you are really designed to be.
Athletes. Fans. Locals. Engineers. Teachers. Students. Mothers. Flight attendants. Nurses. Physical therapists. Bus drivers. Sous chefs. World changers.

To really understand who you are, you must first understand who Jesus is.

WHO AM I

It's a legitimate question. It can be a struggle to find your identity and worth. You may look for identity in your job, your relationships, your good behavior, or your role in society. But inside you feel turmoil: Am I enough?
God knows your identity. He created you, loves you, has a purpose for your life, and he wants you to have a close relationship with him.

Why we have an identity crisis

Unfortunately, you, like every person who has ever lived, have a problem that keeps you separated from God. It’s called sin. Sin is rebellion against God’s love and his ways. Sin leads to brokenness and a self-absorbed way of life. Because God is holy and perfect, your sin has separated you from him. As harsh as it sounds, you deserve punishment, even death, because of your sin against God.
Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. But he was willing to die to take the punishment for your sin and the sin of everyone who has ever lived. Jesus then came back to life, defeating sin and death forever. The Bible says those who receive Jesus and believe in his name have the right to become children of God (John 1:12).
