Who Am I

I Am The Vine

Jesus says "I am the true vine."

There is an opportunity to connect with God

Athletes in the ancient athletic games competed for a crown, not a medal. This victor’s crown, twisted together with vine-like laurel leaves, is still a recognized symbol of athletic glory.
Only a few athletes earn the right to wear a laurel. But God offers every person a crown of life when they choose to connect with Him.
Jesus said He is the vine, and His people are the branches (John 15:5). We are designed for a connection with God, and this connection comes through Jesus. Attaching ourselves to the vine means choosing the life and purpose God has for us. Even if we never place a medal around our necks or a laurel on our heads, we can be victors in life when we choose to walk with Jesus.
